#Shared blends Live Action with rich 2D and 3D Animation and will make you
plunge in the brilliant and authentic spirit of a teenager who never looked for
fame but who unexpectedly becomes the beloved “portraitist” of millions of his
follower’s own lives.
#Shared is also the story of his eclectic family whose lives take a whole new
turn when Sam’s Youtube channel (called Door-to-door) goes viral and makes
him an anonymous celebrity.
Sam’s daydreams [ Illustrated in the show with rich 2D/3D animated segments
] are often inspired by his life in a split family, his divorced parents, his halfbrothers
and sisters and the odd situations that occur within this unconventional –
but touching and authentic – human fabric.
Sam certainly does not have exceptional drawing skills, but his candid and
authentic way of narrating, combined with the real-life topics he depicts,
conveys a storytelling that viewers – old and young – easily relate to.
So whenever he can, Sam draws, making simple roughly animated clips which
he narrates, posts and share. And what started as his way of crystallizing his
journal quickly resonate in the minds of strolls of viewers who feel moved, root for
one or another of the characters, and share Sam’s stories.
